The proposed building has lower ground floor, upper ground comprising of floor to floor height of 6m, then Ground floor and six upper floors having floor to floor height of 3.90 m. The lower ground floor caters for water tanks (domestic, flushing and fire water) and services. Given the topography of the plot, the building has a double height lower ground floor to accommodate heavy and tall equipment in a lab. There is a partial Upper ground floor acting as utility floor. The plinth level ground floor is the actual main entry level floor. The building is served with three staircases and 3 elevators of which 2 lifts are 20 passengers and 1 lift of 24 passenger capacity. Above plinth level ground floor, building has 6 floors. The overall building height from the average ground level is less than 30 meters. The building will have various technology labs, DIY project labs, classrooms, Dry laboratories, Faculty rooms and meeting room. There is no parking facility within the building, however the parking is provided as surface parking in surrounding area. Total built up area of the building is 11300 sqm.
